The best part of New York City is that there's always a hundred gazillion things to do. The truth is, not all of these are as fun or cool or un-awkward as UrbanDaddy, Thrillist, TimeOut, or NYC Go may make it sound. Chances are, at one function or another, you'll find yourself solo and very tempted to just "text your friend who's like, 5 minutes away".
